The Enormous Crocodile Company (TECC) is one of Wellington’s most loved brands, their iconic ‘Croc Bikes’ have been synonymous with the Wellington Waterfront since they began in 1997.
The Croc Bike hire company and Croc Shake bar are both run by TECC, and we were tasked to redesign their brand identity that reflects the vibrant and playful nature of this iconic brand.
The design is a modern take on mid-century branding, with references to vintage mascot illustrations, 1950's colour palettes and hand-drawn typography — the result is an identity that's playful and family friendly, while maintaining the heritage of the brand that'll stand the test of time.
