KARORI GOLF CLUB

BRANDING, GRAPHIC DESIGN. SIGNAGE. MERCH.

Karori Golf Club sits high in the Makara Hills on the edge of Wellington, surrounded by regenerating native bush and home to some of Aotearoa’s rarest wildlife. It is also the first golf course in the world to successfully release kiwi into an active golfing environment – a distinction that makes the club unlike any other.

The rebrand was developed to capture that unique relationship between golf, landscape and conservation. Inspired by the colours, textures and character of the surrounding environment, the identity combines a refined visual language with a strong sense of place. A custom logo, contemporary typography and a natural colour palette create a brand that feels both premium and authentically connected to the course.

The identity extends across every touchpoint, from wayfinding and course signage through to golf flags, tee markers and branded balls. Beyond the course, the system carries into apparel, including hats, jackets and playing uniforms, creating a cohesive brand presence that reflects the club's heritage while positioning it confidently for the future.
